1 Malaysia

Now i dont know if you all notice but the whole racism issue is escalating in Malaysia. The whole principle calling everyone else a PENDATANG or PENUMPANG and the beating of the chinese doods on National Day yes NATIONAL DAY...yet the country still urges us to be patriotic... TRIES their best to make a big fuss about the 31st of August but in all truth they only appreciate the public holiday it offers haha...and i speak for myself to. I TRIED to be patriotic about it but really mmm just not feeling it man...

The whole idea of 1 Malaysia is a noble idea i must say...yes i appreciate the effort of trying to bridge the gap between the races but really coming out with KEMPEN after KEMPEN is not going to help and if its anything it just provides the stand up comedians n critics a whole load of ammunition...we really dont mean to laugh at it but when such KEMPENs come out a whole load of crap from respective organizations come out too...haha its like a well choreographed dance.

I can go on n on about how unfair things have been, i can go on n on about how we can use history to show that even the POLITICALLY claimed original people are not original...but what i really want to talk about is WHY are WE being ATTACKED by these ppl...to be honest this simple mind of mine cannot come up with any answers....i read this article and it has shed a little light on the issue

http://www.malaysia-chronicle.com/2010/09/ultimate-malaysian-debate-malaysia-or.html?spref=fb

and the follow up

http://malaysia-today.net/mtcolumns/special-reports/34254-princess-of-malay-traitors-gives-perkasa-royal-lashing

now the side i'm takin is NO not the side of TRUTH really truth? in this doggy dog eat world nahh...i'm taking the side of LOGIC and COMMON SENSE no not 5 cents or the 6th sense just plain simple common sense. There are what Nurul puts it as progressive malays who are trying to break out n speak their mind...but then there are those who constantly use the same words n tactic to silence them...for CONTOH:

"Blood Traitor"
"No respect for the malay rights"
"dishouring the king"

and many many more slurs that they just throw at them....Am i

Trying to start a fight? No i'm not

Then whats the purpose of this post...well i just wanted to speak a little of my mind not too much just a little cause i dont wan to end up in a detention centre too haha...agree with me or disagree with me tell me about it...solutions i cant give cause i'm no where near to being a politician but as a young adult (aiyer feel so weird calling myself that) I think i can play my part by ignoring the nonsensical slurs that they throw at me and just stay n support those who think with their brains...because as much as EVERYONE knows what they say is NOT TRUE and throwing facts back at them will not help WHY??? well simply cause some ppl are born with half a brain and they only wan to use 1/4 of it....hahaha i'm just kidding well its cause they just are simply INSECURE yes INSECURE...insecurity KILLS....period...insecurity leaves them susceptible to the so called 'brain washing' propagandas that are being spread like a disease only problem is there is no cure for this disease....YET...

Malaysia is a lovely place...i've traveled to many countries before and as screwed up as things can be here I still prefer to come back haha...I also believe that if Malaysia can pull thru...we will definitely be a SHINNING example of how so many races can co exist which in turn i HOPE can stop racism all together...We've sang songs about RACISM, we've played Football to try n stop RACISM, we've painted pictures, heard talks, heard stories from kids, done pledges, joined groups....it looks like everything is been done to stop or at least REDUCE it but nothing seems to be working on the long run...another million dollar question WHY?

we need a whole lot more love not just here but EVERYWHERE, but if we cannot spread the love here first why even bother going else where....So stop hating...if u've been patience keep it up it'll do you good...if u've not give it a shot....but always do stand up for urself in anyway you can...peace ya'll...yEEEHHAaaaaa!!!

oh and also go watch this...=)

Creative Output

All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Sing a new song to the Lord

for he has worked wonders.

His right hand and his holy arm

have brought salvation.

The Lord has made known his salvation;

has shown his justice to the nations.

He has remembered his truth and love

for the house of Israel.

All the ends of the earth have seen

the salvation of our God.

Shout to the Lord all the earth,

ring out your joy.

Sing psalms to the Lord with the harp,

with the sound of music.

With trumpets and the sound of the horn

acclaim the King, the Lord.

Library

So its been 2 weeks since my finals ended. Once again, spent also 3/4 of the month January in the Library studying my butt off...On the last day the 23rd of Jan, we had SP1 which was a real *****. Anyways after the exam got back home first thing i did was SLEEP!! really really was sleep deprived since X'mas ended haha...oh n the new year for me didn't really kick off on the very best note haha but oh well...things would be better (i hope) *prays*....

Once my thirst for SLEEP was satisfied, I had another thirst i need to satisfy. My thirst for HOEGAARDEN!!!...yes HOEGAARDEN...if you dont know what is HOEGAARDEN go google it...haha. So moving from 1 library to the other, Dharma, Leslie and I made our way to The Library in Cineileisure Damansara for out fix of alcohol...=)...Now THIS Library we wouldn't mind spending 3/4 of the month at hahaha provided our fathers shit money every morning la hahaha...The lot of us enjoyed the Hoegaarden, it was SOO heavenly and nothing beats a good pint of Hoegaarden after working your butt off for a whole freaking month...hahaha...So the total amount of Hoegaarden consumed that night was 9 pints, each of us had 3 pints each so that sums up to 1440 liters of HEAVENLY LIQUID...=) All of us went back home and slept smiling....*smiles* so here are a few pics that I manage to take that night. If you guys wan to just sit n chill with a nice cold beer and live music, The Library is definitely the place to be....=)

A Known Stranger

A known stranger, such contradictory words in a single statement yet it is so true. It really hurts that things had to come to this, as much as i tried to prepare myself for it nothing could have prepared me for this. Settling for less was hard, but I was lucky i still had something...now it just feels like i've lost so much. We pass by each other like strangers meeting in the hall way. We talk like mere acquaintances. Thru it all i realize that I needed you more than you needed me, hate to admit it but its true.

Pursuit Of Happyness

yes i am back...like finally haha...well in my absence a miss deng decided to help me blog which i really really appreciate totally unexpected hahaha...=)...

So recent events in my life has finally managed to kick me hard enough in the arse to blog haha...my gosh a lot has happen in this pass few months.

So happiness, we all yearn for it, crave it, want it, is willing to do anything just to get it??hmmm well it is true for some. Personally i dont believe in hurting others just so that we can achieve our OWN happiness. What is happiness if you have no one to share it with? It would really be pointless for me to say this to ppl who are self centered. I do feel sorry for them too as they have to put others down just so that they can feel good.

Then there are those who are willing to do almost anything just to make the ones that are dear to them feel special and happy. They take joy in seeing their love ones smile and get excited over the little things in life that matters.

As of now i can only think of these two, as i'm totally bogged down with exams and i really think i'm losing my mind...=( hahaha...so i decided to chill a little n take friday night off. (or maybe not =x)...

And on the pursuit towards happiness...i am very much aware that the hard way hurts...that is why it was called the hard way to begin with no? hahaha hurt as it may, whatever that does not kill me, will make me stronger...but do i feel stronger? no not yet...i realize that I have manage to push myself this time to really sit n study for quite long periods and i am actually quite amaze haha...then i realize this may be me reacting to recent events in my life. Trying to push away the sorrows by covering it up with work and alcohol and music. I really feel mentally exhausted and at times like this you really wish you are not alone...well technically i am not cause i have 119 other goons with me suffering from BOB and some of them from INC hahaha...but you get what i'm trying to say and if you dont welllll........too bad haha...

So what are YOU willing to do to achieve happiness?

To me i take joy in seeing others being happy and that is no piece of crap haha...it is nice to see a little bit of love going around when the world is so filled with hatred. A song from nickelback - far away has awesome lyrics the line that i would stand by would be this

"Cause with you, i'll withstand all of hell just to hold you hand"

and i mean why not right? haha

great things come to those who wait....settling for less is always hard and sad but it is better than having nothing at all...and yeah i guess that will be all from me for now...will try my best to blog more....so until then SMILE for there is a tomorrow and when there is a tomorrow there are opportunities so always put your best foot forward and remember... action speaks louder than words...spread the love ya'lll

The Premier of Whiteout

DISCLAIMER: I know i said in previous post that this was suppose to be Hennessy Artistry but that will have to wait a while longer hahaha

So it was the 13th of Oct, some were a bit taboo about the number 13 but to me its just another number. Poor 13 somehow along the way in history got associated with BAD LUCK. I think it all started with the whole Salem Witch Trial thing which i dont know much about...anywhoooooooooo Kristine so kind heatedly invited me to the premier of Whiteout.

I'm just going to roughly summarize the movie in my own words...don't worry I wont give out any spoilers hahaha....Basically the movie is a Suspense/Thriller movie about mankind's greed which eventually cause havoc in Antarctica where the movie is set. Whiteout is a phenomenon whereby the weather gets so bad that winds can reach up to 100 mph and you can not see more than 6 inches in front of you. So the movie is about a group of geologist who were out on their expedition searching for meteorites until 1 day they stumbled upon something very precious. The story slowly unfolds itself with flashbacks and a twist or two. Carrie Stetko(Kate Beckinsale) plays a U.S Marshall who is determined to hunt down the murderer and solve the mystery involved as the team of geologist dies 1 by 1....i personally like movies like this where I cant guess the endings. During the movie you are bound to feel SUSPENSE haha and the element of suspense is not disappointing at all and will most definitely bring you to the edge of your sits. The twist in the movie is relatively good BUT the movie is quite short. I however enjoyed it and would recommend you to watch it despite the length of the movie. It is rated 18 PL...i think...but there really isn't much unless the good Malaysian Board of Censorship CENSORED off all the good parts hahaha...there is a certain extend of Goriness in the movie but if you managed to survive Final Destination 4 then this would be a stroll in the park for you. The movie will be premiering in Cinemas this Thursday i think which is the 15th of Oct so go watch it....The movie's cast includes KATE BECKINSALE (love her) Shawn Doyle and Nicolas Wright.

Anger Management

As the title suggest this post is going to get hot hot hot...hahaha i've never had a post like this so here goes...i'll try to be as gentle as possible for the benefit of everyone.

The one thing that ticks me off...that i have really REALLY low tolerance towards is when ppl change because of POWER. I'm really damn effing annoyed with bone heads like this. After taking a long break from IT I finally decided to go bak and Sunday marked the first day of my so called return. I never expected anything knowing things has been getting from bad to worst until a few stepped bak in to try n salvage whatever is left of IT. Then seeing them bak there i thought to myself hey maybe it wouldn't be thaaaatttt bad after all la. I was in for a surprise la...the dungu of a person cannot even greet ppl with a simple HI also. *argue* But Mark she stress la chill la give her some time and space...if thats the case right I want to go around being an asshole and justify myself by saying i'm going through a bad patch la. =.= ... cannot right? i mean wtf like everybody else got no issues in their life la either way it is not an excuse to treat ppl badly. So ok fine i'll be the understanding one and give her the benefit of the doubt la huh.

During practice we were running through a song and it had to be stopped so that the musicians could be TOLD what to play...now that SERIOUSLY ticks me off...We are not Malaysian Philharmonic orchestra or a PERFORMING choir....so why scrutinize the way the musicians play..What happen to spontainity and sparks of inspiration...I felt like I was at work being PUSHED around by a boss whos nose has been arched SOOOO high that he cant even see his own 2 feet. Things were just really PATHETIC...yes i miss the good ole times we had...how we used to have fun being together glorifying HIM n not OURSELVES...I dont like to just sit down and complain and then do nothing about it but now i'm gettin my arse up and TRYING to do something about it and yet all I see is EGO and INSECURITY....FLAWS that OTHERS have to suffer for...now that is just plain ridiculous la...its been at least 2 months i've been bearing with beats that are just saddening... 1 BY 1 THEY FALL BECAUSE OF POWER AND THE TUNE THAT IS PLAYING IS THE SAME OLD TUNE....in the movie spider man Uncle Ben said to Peter...with great POWER comes great RESPONSIBILITY. Only thing i see is the responsibility of keeping me myself and I above the rest regardless of what I do...

In Your Attempts to Make Things Look Nicer, You Do The Direct Opposite and Make A Fool Out Of Yourself.

Now thats that...since I'm on a roll I might as well talk about other things....Its been at least a month since it happen and i'm slowly getting used to things but once in a while it still bugs me here and there...Like when I'm alone and things dont seem to go my way, when the cold I feel is more than just a physical sensation, the feeling of holding onto something so real yet so abstract comes creeping in. I reach out my hand hoping to feel something warm, something familiar but no, all I feel is emptiness. Am I ok? Yes I am but I'm only human and seeing something that I have nurtured grow into what i thought was so beautiful, what I thought was going to keep growing, something that would not fail when everything else does. All my emotions every drop of it pouring into that one thing and one thing only....finally dying so abruptly. Yes only time can heal and yes it has been healing, nevertheless my confidence has dropped, my self esteem trying to find its way back to me. I'm already packing up and bringin my act else where, and so ladies and gents this is a little glimpse into my inner soul. Thank You...

Man Utd 2 - 1 Arsenal....So What?? =)

well welll...now that is why I LOVE with a capital L football sooo much....not just because Man Utd came up top for this match but it just goes to show that, the game ain't over till the fat lady sings....(its a football expression FOR REAL)

So once again just like how i did on the Man Utd - Liverpool post...i'm going to be very objective about a few things if its right its right if its wrong then its wrong la....

Reading the title Man Utd fans must be thinking....IDIOT....SO WHAT??? hahaha well yeah so what...to me this game was just another game in the whole season...YES it was a good game... YES they beat the Guooonerss YES Man Utd did walk away with 3 points and i guess ultimately that is the whole idea...it really doesn't matter THATTTTTT much who Man Utd beats ... its I believe a lot more to "good they have won yet another game to help them with the season" but what makes this win so special?? .... well i guess its because of the hype about Man Utd losing to a newly promoted side and Arsenal starting off the season with such a bang so putting 1 to 1 Arsenal were expected to HANTAM!!! Man Utd at home .... this defeat just shows that...The season is still so FRESH la dont talk cock sing song all about winning the title already just cause they went on a trashing spree for their FIRST 3 GAMES....=.=....

So about the game...all in all i would say it was a good game honestly not just because Man Utd won...but it was not 1 sided and chances were there for both sides....If you look at big games its always about who would break first MENTALLY....like the goal from Arshravin (or however you spell his name) Vidic should have closed him down and not allow him to shoot....as for Ben Foster...i guess he just wasn't expecting a shoot like that BUT take nothing away from the small russian dood it was a great goal...Then came the PENALTY which i believe changed the whole course of the game...once again things like this are not RARE it is quite common especially in big games....did rooney dive to get the penalty...NO...Almunia clearly TA PAU the fella which was kinda unessecary cause if rooney would have gotten the ball it would be a lot harder to put it pass Almunia. After the penalty, came the Freekick that GIGGSY took....a silly mistake by diaby and BAM!!! OWNNNN GOALLLL!!!!!! but if you watch the replay for that, Rooney was right behind Diaby and if Diaby let it go it would have fallen right into Rooney's feet and also BAMM!!!! but this time GOALLLL!!!!!

So that is about it...the highlights of the match...apart from the fact that Ben Foster managed a BRILLIANT reaction save and that Arsenal had 6 Yellow Cards.... Man Utd's lost to Burnley didn't really come as a BIG surprise for me...Shit happens in in life and in FOOTBALL so you better Buckle Up cause I can see an interesting season dawning upon us with more matches like this to come and perhaps more DRAMA!!! +)

Of Raining Mornings and Sunny Afternoons

Well its been a very long while since i blogged and its mainly because i'm on summer break and I really have no motivation to go about being my active self. BUTTTTT i'm really not complaining, i'm enjoying the laid back life i have right now...KINDA stress free, really NOTHING much to worry about and the occasionnal hanging out with frens is all very much NICE!!!!

So of rainy mornings and sunny afternoons huh...well that title has been stucked in my head for quite some time and it really has nothing to do with anything i'm goin to write about hahaha in fact i'm not to sure what i'm goin to write about. There has been however a few days that were literally raining in the morning and bright and sunny in the afternoon. To be honest i actually like that kind of weather hahaha the nice cold weather outside in the morning just makes curling up in bed oooooo so much nicer and the sunny afternoons welll are just sunny afternoons hahaha....

So ppl have been asking me how on good old planet earth do i survive 4 months of holiday practically doing NOTHING....hahaha...well there really only is 1 rule....TAKE EACH DAY AS IT COMES....i literally dont worry about what is going to happen tomorrow and just do what i feel like doing. =) NOT PLANNING for what i'm going to do tomorrow is really not me...when the semester begins again...i'll be constantly looking at the calendar planning and planning prioritising events and stuffs.....and things can really get out of hand sometimes ask any chemical engineer and they'll say pretty much the same thing...so when summer dawns upons us or ME specifically, I guess i just dont wanna work on high gear and thats why i opt for a very much more laidback lifestyle hahaha...

Ppl say i should get a part time job instead of just bumming around...well if I find a part time job worth doing ( NOT FOR THE MONEY ) then i would...besides sitting alone at home for most of the day gives me some time to myself too... Sitting here in my computer room watching as ppl go on with their lives thru FB and MSN and their BLOGS is quite interesting. Sometimes being awake at this hour alone...thoughts would creep into my mind...NO not negative thoughts...just thoughts of who I was and how did i get here and where am i now and where am I headed to....I was actually watching Yasmin Ahmad's commercials before blogging and she(he) really knows what she want her audience to FEEL, SENSE, THINK....of course I speak for those who are open minded and not those who look at her commercials thinking that it must have a hidden racist agenda....Here is the link to 1 of my favourite and its not because of interacial marriage but because of what the indian lady said....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2XLZsiCBsA.

apparently Yasmin Ahmad took the idea from the movie Good Will Hunting...but whatever la....what really struck me was the things said in the ad....and I really have to agree that being with our partners knowing their 'imperfections' is what makes them beautifully perfect and when they are gone it is the little things that you remember....like the way she laughs or smiles...or looks at you when you go on non stop ranting about that stupid driver....it is the little things that really matter after all...but this is said a lot more than done...when i watch this type of ads or listen to songs that i can really relate too...i get sudden burst of inspirations and thoughts...anyways while you are at that link look at the related videos and there are a few videos from thailand (not by yasmin ahmad) that are worth watching also...for those with a weaker heart i suggest you prepare tissues cause tears...i can gurantee you will be there hahaha....

well i guess thats all i have to say for now...so spend some time with yourself to get to know yourself better...if you dont know yourself how are you going to share YOU with the world...=)....

1st Time For Everything

Alrite i know this post is about 1 week late and my excuse for it being late is that I was just too lazy to do anything but watch tv series and sleep. hahaha....anyways like the title suggest there is always a 1st time for everything and last week I had 2 events that was my first time.

FIRST - It was MPO. So many years being a musician i have never seen a ochestra playing live before and come to think of it, it is pretty damn sad hahaha...so a whole lot of use went for this show ( cant remember the name and no its not because it was that bad ) and i enjoyed it. Although i did dose off here n there hahaha. We had to dress up like super formal in coat n all. The 3 main singers were awesome and the choir was i have to say better than HFC choir...sigh...but these ppl are I would like to believe PROFESSIONALLY trained...hahaha wherelse the HFC choir is just a group of guys n girls coming together and singing their hearts out for the greater glory. Anyways the violins were stunning and now i finally understand what my piano teacher wanted when she yelled at me MARK SOFTER SOFTER....just a rough idea of how the dinamics are...when they say soft it means to the extend of barely hearing anything but in the faint distance u can hear something...makes any sense to you? hahaha well it does to me...soooooo MPO was fun oh n it was my first time mamaking in FORMAL clothes too haha...so 2 first timers in 1 night woohoo....

SECOND - Man Utd was in town last week and they played against a Malaysian selection AND this happened on Saturday which clashed with MPO. I was a little disappointed but then again was thinkin i'll catch them the next time they come around. So the results of the match was of course quite unexpected. Malaysian hero Amri Yahya capitalized on his chances and gave Malaysia a lifeline and a chance at that game but ultimately Man Utd showed us once again why big buck players are called BIG BUCK PLAYERS only this time it came in the form of a free transfer agent...=)....I only manage to know the result of the match the following day which is a Sunday and flipping thru the pages something caught my eye... MAN UTD. TO PLAY A REMATCH WITH MALAYSIAN XI...and i was like WTF!!!! this is it...this is my second chance to watch the game LIVE...I was not going to miss out on this opportunity and after mass called that monkey finger fella and nick. Gomez agreed to go with me to Bukik Jalil to get the tics but the last minute he FFK me...=.=...so I by hook or by crook was going to go get the tics. I left my house at about 3pm and reached Bukik Jalil Stadium at about 3.20pm and when i saw the line, instincts kick in and i slow jog towards the line...looking to my right a couple was staring right at me n i staring right back at them thankfully the girl tak boleh lari so i made it to the line first hahaha....so Singaporean Kiasu Mentality...hahaha....

From where i stood when i got there

So there i was lining up infront of that couple...=)....under the hot sun hoping that the line would thin out fast...and then it hit me...why is it taking ppl so long to get the blady tics when all they have to do is say how many ppl...its not like they were at the movies trying to decide what show to watch...=.=...thanks to that Gomez fella i had to wait there alone...=(...but for Man Utd. I was willing hahaha....anyways after about 40 minutes or so...which is relatively a short time but since the sun was blazing it'll be categorized under LONG WAIT...so after the long wait the line then look something like this

40 minutes later

When I took the pic at this position there was this fella on the other line suddenly said "WHAT SOLD OUT" I was like Fish la Fish...i waited under the HOT sun for so LONG all ALONE then the bugger say sold out...first thing that came to my mind was...KILL GOMEZ...2nd was....well...nothing actually hahahaha....luckily for GOMEZ the fella repeated himself again this time sayin " WHAT the 308 SOLD OUT"...and i was like phew the RM 308 tics is it...sigh...its not good you know give ppl this kinda shock...especially when there are lives on the line...so a few minutes later, with ticket in hand and smile on face and satisfaction at heart...I couldn't wait to watch Man Utd play...the thought of seeing Rooney and Ferdinand and Evra and the whole lot of them play was ORGASMIC...hahaha....

MATCH DAY - So then match day came and the whole lot of us decided to be there 3 hours before the match...by the time we reached the stadium which was at 5.20pm the crowd outside the gate was like this (picture doesn't wanna come unto blogger) it wasn't the largest crowd i've seen in 1 given area but it was sure good to see so many Man Utd fans hahaha....anyways the game was good, the atmosphere was awesome...Man Utd....ahhhh....still my favs....and to sum it all up just watch the 2 videos below....So on MATCH DAY it was my first time going to a footbal game...it was my first time watching Man Utd play LIVE!!!....it was my first time gathering with so many Man Utd fans...it was my first time doing a mexican wave with thousands of ppl hahaha....all in all that weekend was a nice change for the normal weekends i have been having...so thats all from this post watch the videos...=) cheers

ps - blogger doesn't wanna cooperate with me so i cant upload the videos now...sorry for any incovenience caused...

The Silence Is Broken

OK finally i have enough of inspiration to write just a weee bitt hahaha...I've been kept shut by the plain fact that nothing much has been going on in my life...everything is or should i say was same old same old...But recent events have made me bring out the thinkin box

I have been struck dumbfounded a few times in the past week. I was once again reminded of how interesting and unique homo sapiens are. How some believe that when the going gets tough on one side just switch to the other. How decisions are made without thinking of the repercussions.

We all have made decisions in life....some very significant some less significant. Some ppl look at all their options before choosing what would suit them best and disregard others. Some would just make decisions without thinkin twice or the repercusions it'll bring after making such a decision. It is definately undeniable that we control our lives, yes and yes we dont have to care about what others think about who we are and what we do or how we express ourselves. Honestly, i do believe in this too but everything comes with a limit. When we make decisions that are life altering, it does not just alter YOUR life it changes the lifes of the ppl around you. Talking about change, ppl change for a reason or two, perhaps it was an event that happened to them personally or perhaps the change really isn't in others.

How do i know what i'm doing in life is right, how do i know this is the right path...these questions have most definitely been on our minds unless you really are so blatantly ignorant to where you are headed in life. My answer to these questions would be...look at how ppl around you are reacting. Reacting to the decisions you make, the lifestyle you live, the way you bring yourself cause i believe that every action we take has an equal reaction. It is simple physics but it sure can be applied in our daily life. I'm not trying to say that we have to be self conscious all i'm saying is that sometimes when we keep asking questions like why is this happening to me, why are ppl treating me like this, why is my life heading in this direction...maybe it's only fair to take a step back and just think...are my actions causing this? or am i just caught up in the middle of a situation.

I've been sitting back and watching and the sights i'm seeing are not gettin any prettier. Can i do something about it...perhaps...Responsibility is a word that is very under rated. Maturity is even more more MORE under rated.

Being responsible and matured doesn't mean old and boring... they are not synonyms agree with me or disagree with me i wanna hear all about it. Asking me for knitty gritty details i'm just going to say sorry. Has the recent events in my life compelled me to write this post YES.
So that will be all from me now i really wish i could write more but let me go think first before i come back....hahaha...Cheers!!

Mark Lim Emo Boy!!!

ok la i see every blog also got emo post so i also wan to have emo post. Cannot be social outcast hahaha....anyways so ready for my emoness....EMOOOOOOOOOOOOO EMOOOOOOOOO EMOOOOOOO EMOOOOOOOOO EMOOOOOO...ok done....=) hahaha

ANYWAYSSSSS.....i see my night at the hospital 2 post till sienz d so have to come up with another post. Since my ordeal at the hospital there was no rest for me, allison said suppose to get at least 1 month rest before resuming anything. UNFORTUNATELY i dont have the luxury of 1 month rest, i had to fire up my cylinders again making sure i was using high octane petrol to be able to catch up on what was lost. So as i mentioned in the previous blog, I did go for my annual dinner and i did perform for my talent quest finals all in pain but but the show must go on and if i would have pulled out i would have disappointed a lot of ppl. (Including myself) Talent quest turned out pretty good for us despite the fact that i was handicapped. We didn't win but personally i thought we won.

Here is the video(http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=524134611&v=feed&story_fbid=77617743829#/group.php?gid=60009384587) just scroll all the way down and join the group if you haven joined.

Then after talent quest, it was Process Engineering Project or a.k.a PEP that was hell i tell you...i had to juggle doing PEP and study math at the same time. The schedule looked like this

Monday - PEP assignment due
Wednesday - Math Test
Thursday - Thermodynamics assignment due.

So at the end of that week a very very VERY sad thing happened. I had to wave goodbye to ann ann...=(....woke up at 5.30am to go to airport to send her off. She'll be gone for 6 months, 6 months only right...ehhh no...now its been a week and its already hard....sighhh....emo emo emo emo emo emo emo...hahahaha...but i'm glad she took on the challenge and went to india. I spoke to her recently and she said some students cant take it and actually pulled out (not from masterskill)....with her absence...hmmm....life is so different....

That was on the 24th of april a friday and i decided to take some time off studies n rested but cannot rest in peace also cause every morning wake up think of...Ann, MPC, HMT, and SPF. So then study break commenced on the 27th of april. I have been going to Uni all week studyin with dharma. Then today is labour's day d lo...=.=...so fast la...i was kinda hoping the weekend didnt come so fast cause that just means WE ( the chem eng year 1 peeps) have less time. Oh i forgot, on thursday night went out for movie outing with the whole gang (without ann =(... ) we watched x-men origins: wolverine. The movie was good, stan lee had to rewrite the story a little to suite the movies cause it is not the same as the comic book or cartoons. I was hoping to see a little more mutants in action but GAMBIT was f****** chun i tell you hahahaha....is it worth watching...well yeah for sure if you are a marvel or x-men fan like me....hahaha....there is a little love story twist in the movie also...dont worry i'm not goin to give it out...go watch the movie its worth your time.

So today...hmmm...same old same old...MPC MPC MPC....was a bit too much to take d so i decided to take time off studies at night and DOTA hahaha....tomorrow or should i say today...i'll be heading to Uni again to study and get myself away from distractions....(points to tv, computer and musical instruments) hahaha....other than that....thats about it la....the emo part of this post is that i feel overwhelmed right now cause studies wise there is just too much...ask any chemical engineer and they'll say the same perhaps for a few exceptions hahaha....;-)....from the aspect of life...everything is ok nothing out of the ordinary apart from ann being so far away...

Here is a little something that came rigth off the top off my head....(i put here so can access it easier no need to go hotmail...hahaha)

all the love i have is with you and none other....with your absence my love for you still thrives on our fond memories and the love you left me before flying off to a far away land. I yearn for your return yet i'm glad that you have partaketh on this extraordinary journey to experience another side of life first hand. Fear not as everyday i still wake up only wanting you to be mine, i'll only be a fool to let such beauty and soul slip by again. I love you, these 3 words, 3 meagre words are the only thing i can give you. Despite our distance, i hope you can feel my love, for my love has been radiating violently here in hopes that it'll reach you. Even if its just a tiny speck of love you may feel, sorrow i shall not feel for at least i know the pain i go through is worth it.

Night at the Hospital 2....=)

Greetings ppl, yes this is the sequal to the Night At The Hospital which was my first ever blogpost... n yes as the title suggest. I was in the hospital once more this time for 3 days and 2 nights. The last time i was admitted was due to lower abdominal pain n was discharged the following day cause the pain subsided. However this time, the pain came on tuesday night and did not subside the next day (April Fools day) so off to the hospital it was for me AGAIN...

I got up the next day with very minimal amount of sleep due to the stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen. My maid said i look pucat while i waited downstairs for my mom to come get me. I was admitted at about 11am and the doctor scheduled my surgery the very same afternoon. He said it was unwise to wait again since its a reaccurance. So before checkin in i had to go thru a few test first the same old same old. Urine test, blood test and this time they even did an ultra sound on me hahaha...damn cool right...but it hurt like FREAKIN hell k. The fella had to press the thing against my appendix (WHERE IT FREAKING HURT THE MOST) to see if its inflamed. Even with the ultra sound, no1 can determine for sure if its appendicitis but the radiologis said it looked pretty inflamed. So after being wheeled from 1 room to another i laid in bed waiting waiting for the time to come. For me to go under the knife and lose that 1 useless organ of the body and as useless as it is it can still cause a hell lot of pain. So at about 1pm the nurse came in the room with the surgical gown and asked me to put it on. Yes it was bare bak...sexy?hahaha and yes my ass was exposed. The nurse specifically said : " you have to remove everything ah, even ur panties." =.= ... panties? wtf man i dont wear panties man i'm not some cross-dresser. I wear briefs or underpants...=.=...and trust me with the stabbing pain in my abdomen getting changed was hard. Before getting changed i had to be POKED, they inserted that needel thing again to feed me artificially as i would like to put it. The nurse first inserted the needle into my vain in me left hand. But the fluid got stuck n i could see my vain swell. I tell u it was shitty pain man.... and this is not some kind of bad april fool joke k...You would have freaked out if u seen my vain. So the needle was removed and disposed off and they tried again this time in my right hand...wahhlau....like 1 time pain not enough must do AGAIN.

So ok as i was sayin after gettin changed the bed was waiting for me right outside the toilet d. The nurses were pretty eager to get me cut up. So off i was to the Operating Theater. Wonder why they call it that, is there that much of a show when ppl get cut up...hmmm...i certainly guess so. Anyways it was into the elavator and down a floor before i was pushed into the some what waiting room of the OT. After 10, 15 mins the nurses told me alrite we're goin in boy. The OT looks damn cool hahaha though. I was moved onto the operating table and NO it was not made of metal thus my ASS was not freezing. The doctor who puts ppl to sleep (dont know how to spell his profession and lazy to find) was chinese so he spoke to me in cantonese sayin :" ok ah i'm goin to inject the anesthetic now ah." whilst placing the mask over my face. I was thinkin to myself, alrite this is it man. I looked into the mask took 2 deep breaths and the when i finally opened my eyes all i could see was bright lights. I felt very very disorientated and the stabbing pain was still there. I was thinkin to myself omg did i wake up half way thru the operation? and i think said Where am i, where am i. Cause i heard 1 of the nurses sayin the operation is over d BOY...i remember being very agitated and moving around a lot and also my nose was blocked and my throat stuff with mucous. The pain was really unbearable and so they administored pain killer. The first dose went in but nope didn't help, i still was very agitated. So they gave me a 2nd dose and thats when i begin to settle down. I was still very disoriented and i keep slipping in and out of conciousness. When i open my eyes again i could see my room door and my mom standing outside, i could hear her sayin something too but couldn't remember wat, hahaha then after that Ann was there oh boy was i feeling even more relieved. I tried to open my eyes and say hi but tak da ada strength. KOSONG, nil, SIFAR, POCHII, MEI YOU....NADA....all i could do was hold on to Ann's hand. After finally waking up a little, i was damn thirsty but couldn't drink water AT ALL. At about 8pm i finally was able to have my first cup of water and it felt weird, hahaha...seriously. Water never tasted so good before, doctor still did not allow me to eat or even drink milo, it was just clear fluids for me. Just when i thought my ordeal was over, the nurse came in and told me that i need to go pee now or else they'll have to insert a tube into my wee wee....=(....bugger when i heard that the urge of peeing came *snaps fingers* just like that...hahaha....So when i went to the toilet to pee, my gosh i felt weird also, but luckily i manage to pee. Shitting or pls dont get me started all i can say is even up till now shitting is a major task for me as the wound is on my stomach n just incase u ppl didn't notice u need ur stomach muscles to contract and push ur SHIT out. Well i cant do that, i cant use my stomach muscle. So that means no LAUGHING, COUGHIN, SNEEZING, SLEEPING ON MY SIDES (yes that means i sleep in 1 position only) even walking is difficult for me, sitting, bending over, blowing my nose all this trivial stuff is becoming a real TASK for me. Each time i wanna cough or sneeze i need to hold on to my wound to not let it bounce too much or else it'll hurt like hell. I cant sit straight for long and my daily routines has gotten more interesting.

On thursday i started eating and boy it felt good, FREAKIN good. I did not eat for 36 hours straight and was sustained only by drips. Each day was a real sturggle for me as i was gettin used to my current condition. All the limitation and pain, i just need to overcome them with mind power. Even as i write to every1 today, NOW, i'm hurting. Thank god me family and Ann and sandy came by to visit me as it is utmost uplifting to see your love ones. Apart from my physical pain, I was metally hurt too. Before the operation, i was running on full cylinders balancing love, studies and music. I have my annual dinner on saturday, talent quest finals on tuesday and my semester is coming to and end. Then this happened and it all came to and abrupt stop. My life was slown down from running on fifth gear all the way down to second gear without even goin thru the 3rd and 4th gear. It was hard as i knew there was so much coming up ahead and yet i'm in this condition. All i can do now is sit and wait, and pray for a speedy recovery.

I believe god threw this fast ball at me for a reason i just dont know wat. I will waste not time pondering over it, it will be a page in my book that i will fold and move on hoping that 1 day i would understand why. No1 is to be blamed and as 1 door closes on me i'm hoping another would open. I truly am greatful to my family Mom, Dad, Shaun, Daniel, Celine and Ann for being there for me, as for talent quest this coming tuesday fear not as The Last Minutes will not pull out of the comp as the show must go on. So until next time tata and remember HEALTH IS WEALTH.

ps ~ i was admitted in KPJ and the pictures and videos will be uploaded in due time...=) cheer ppl and take care

Man Utd 1 - 4 Liverpool...So What???=)

ok guys i'm sure EVERYONE is aware of that recent event and its plastered all over facebook how Man Utd is a loser la they suck la...well i'm here to set a few things straight. First of all i am a MANCHESTER UNITED fan n despite the lost i still am a proud one....=)....honestly there is nothing to be ashame about...yeah they lost at home..yeah they lost 4-1 but its not like it has not HAPPENED before or its not like its not possible. Of course its possible that is why football is called the BEAUTIFUL game. Like in the FA cup how many times have minor league teams SLAIN big boys like Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chealsea.

This recent defeat has sent SHOCKWAVES across the world i would say. Devastated man utd fans would be trying their best to salvage some pride by defending themselves and liverpool fans would be BOMBARDING the man utd fans like crazy n like there is no tomorrow. Well i for one would defend what SHOULD be defended and accept what SHOULD be accepted.

1) Ppl say that Man Utd fans that fight back are sore losers...ok this is just really REALLY ridiculous. WHY? well we are FANS not PLAYERS so technically we cant really be sore losers. The team i supported lost ok fine so?How does it make me a sore loser by defending what should be defended. Does defending a league title make a team a sore loser? i doubt so right...=)...

2)Ppl say that Man Utd suck cause they lost at home to Liverpool 4-1. hmmm well yeah true no doubt they lost but to say they suck?hmmm...if Man Utd SUCKSSSS but they are still sitting atop the table with 4 points and 1 game in hand AND Liverpool are at 3rd place....so what does that make Liverpool? you do the math...=) Same case for when ppl say Man Utd are losers...yeah true they lost to Liverpool that does not make them losers....Even giants fall sometimes k NO ONE IS FREAKING PERFECT....n forget not this quote "With a GREAT FALL,comes a GREAT ARISING"...=)

3) Ppl say Liverpool will continue their rampage...well i couldn't care less if they do. Man Utd had a bad day no doubt about that. Liverpool had a great day and a great performance so that i will not take away. But with all this pride and so called glory obtained by slaying Real Madrid in mid week and Man Utd on the weekend, i fear the only thing they see coming is a fall. Once again remember this "with PRIDE comes a GREAT fall" and i'm not making this up you for one knows all this...=)

4)To one of my friend who said it doesnt matter if Man Utd lifts the cup at the end of the season and that what matters is that Liverpool won Man Utd 4-1....all i have to say that you short sightedness is not my problem and good luck with that and definately definately can tell that you dont really watch much football huh...=)...go for the big fish or the small fish...hmmm judgin by your reaction....it looks like you would prefer the small fish for the big... still not my problem....

5)Did Man Utd deserve to lose? well yes i would say..why? why would i be so hypocritical to 1 minute support them n the next say they deserve to lose...well all i can say is that they need a big slapp in the face and thats what they got. They went into the game 7 points clear of the pack and with 1 game in hand. If they won against Liverpool that'll put them 10 points clear and 1 game in hand which they would most likely win so that will put them 13 points clear of the pack...Would you still want to watch the most anticipated league in the world?i STRONGLY doubt so...am i tryin to say Man Utd purposely lost out to make things more interesting...hahaha definately not...if they could get a full grip of the EPL they would and it will enable them to concentrate on the remaining 2 cups too if they would have won all the way. What i'm sayin is that its called the beautiful game for a reason...without events like this the game would have never been labelled as THE BEAUTIFUL GAME.

6)Lastly i would say congrats to Liverpool for going to old trafford and walking away with 3 points and to Man Utd hope the wake up call was loud n clear enough. 1 way i would like to look at the event was that Man Utd became great host by humbling themselves before their guest in hopes that they would return another day with the same spirit...=)...

So to all you FOOTBALL KAKIS out there...GAMES OVER...move on and for the last time look at where your team stands before calling Man Utd a loser. Cause if you are below them then base on logical thinking that would make you a bigger loser so stop calling each other losers...thats a real poor point to fight on...=)CHEERS !!!

ps ~ before you say i emo la...i angry at the lost la...seriously...do i sound angry at the lost? like i said i'm looking at facts here...=) and its just 1 game dudeeee hahahahaha

Standing At CrossRoads!!!

I just got off the phone with my dear ann, thanks for listening....=)....but since i cant understand friedel-crafts alkylation of benzene and why benzene and other aromatic compunds can be attacked by electrophiles and a lot more nonsense i decided to blog and rant a little, perhaps it'll help clear my mind up a little.

So the 2nd semester has already begun, we are already in our week 7 and things are as HECTIC as EVER. Schedule for this week looks something like this:

Monday - Holiday, BUTT have to rush Lab Report and SPF. I had to stay up till 4am to figure out a damn graph which looks something like this

Tuesday - Woke up late, and then in the noon after a quick lunch RUSH lab report with Chong Ernest....hahaha....got back home at about 3 slept till 5.30pm rush back to uni for sports week vball competition but raining so TAK JADI...=.=...suppose to practice for auditions of annual dinner but living up to the LAST MINUTES spirit we decided to practice on wed the audition day itself.

Wednesday - LUCKY manage to wake up in time for class...n its 311 weee....hahaha....after a tortures thermodynamic lecture we headed to chris's house for practice and then rush back again for auditions and VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION WHICH KEEPS GETTING POSTPONED DUE TO THE WEATHER....sigh....

Thursday - got called to play for green jam(nottingham having an environmental week thing so green week...green jam u get the picture la huh) but as of now we(The Last Minutes) have decided to pull out of that performance...its just a little too much...7pm gree jam and then 6pm volleyball if it doesn't rain....how la....HOW....but we'll be back for the TALENT QUEST...=)

Friday - EXAMMMMM!!!!!then after that PEP!!!!!then after that MORE PEP...and after that MORE MORE PEP!!!=( but friday night allocated d for something way way WAY better and more rewarding than PEP hahaha....

n like my title suggest i am or should i say i was at crossroads...art of sports...both the things i love...sighhh so hard to choose...

so yeah basically thats it and i had the sudden urge to study again so toodlesss and Cheers Mates!!! Go Chemical Engineersss WOOOOOO!!!!

Shame Shame NUS!!

Ok for most of you who didn't know i was away last weekend from the 20th noon till the 22nd night. I was in Singapore for the 1st inaugural IChemE games organized by NUS. Soooo wat on good ol' planet earth is IChemE??well its a organization for chemical engineers which is all over the world.

So 55 of us chemical engineers from the University of Nottingham Malaysian Campus packed our bags and boarded the train in Kajang KTM station on the 20th. Our train was at 2.40pm and the journey to Singapore took us 7 hours++...I KNOW TELL ME ABOUT IT...The moment i stepped into the train, I recognized a very familiar odour...the odour of a BARBER SHOP...like wat the hell right hahaha...the train's toilet...(shakes head) never seen 1 soooooooo bad before. KTM really damn sad case. The day they decide to do something about this, PIGS WOULD FLY. So traveling for 7 hours in a train wasn't much of a problem for me. So after 7 hours++ of traveling we finally reached Singapore, however it took us quite some time to actually reach our hostel. We were picked up by this ang mo dude, his name is Joe. We got onto a CHARTED bus, best part is its a public bus with the words CHARTED displayed on its sign. So the hostel we stayed in is called, Tresor's Tavern. Its a hoStel not a hoTel but it was pretty cool. All my years of traveling i've never stayed in a backpacker hostel before. Sharing a room or should i say floor with 15 other guys, sleeping in bunk beds spells.........INTERESTING INTERESTING INTERESTING in a good way of course. The moment we settled down it was about 11pm and we haven had our DINNER. In the train i got hungry and so had to go to the trains canteen, cafeteria, makan place watever u call it to get something to eat. Here is the MENU

Maggie Cup - RM3.50
Nasi Lemak - RM4.50
Nasi Goreng - RM3.00

Like WAT THE **** right....Maggie cup for RM 3.50....crazy ah....the stupid thing is there was a list of food stuff there but SEMUA TAK DE....=.=....Derick, Graeme and Me had to just settle for the RM 3.00 Nasi goreng which tasted like ajinomoto only. So as i was sayin, after settling down we headed out into the streets of Singapore and it was pretty dead. There was a makan stall just around the corner from where we lived so me, graeme and a whole lot others headed there. DERICK WEEEEEED ditched us the moment he stepped foot onto his MOTHERLAND....hahaha....The food was pretty good i must say. Other than that, that was pretty much it for the first day. Oh and after makan we got back graeme went into the toilet came out and said:

Graeme: Eh Mark... u got bring shampoo and soap right? They dont provide la...
Mark: (cock stare)....Then laughs his ass off.....

well graeme wasn't the only one, 5 other clown friends of mine must have also thought it was a hotel. hahaha....

21st - So after getting a good night rest, got up fresh and ready for BREAKFAST hahaha, the hostel provided us breakfast and it starts at 7am. So as usual la...the early bird catches the worm...breakfast that morning was. Sausage, with egg sandwhich and milo...=)...the egg sandwhich was AWESOME!!! n since its a HOSTEL we were required to wash our cups and plates. So after makan...we got our things and got ready to go to NUS. From here forth. things was CHAOS CHAOS CHAOS....I damn lazy wanna type everything out. All i can say is that, the Chemical Engineers in NUS didn't do a very good job in planning this event. Another thing i would like to criticize is the mentality of Singaporeans.

If you would have watched the movie - MONEY NOT ENOUGH 2 - you would understand. There was a scene in the movie where the Security guard was fussing about the fire engine parking in a VIP spot or something and in the end clamped the vehicle. Well yeah SINGAPOREANS are sooooo like that, they are not willing to compromise even when there is a FREAKING FIRE. There were no fires that day but we traveled all the way to SINGAPORKKK to end up playing with UITM. Nanyang Tech Uni (NTU) didn't sent any teams and NUS had only teams in certain sports and even so can be counted with 1 hand. The IChemE games was planned right on the SPORTS WEEK of NUS and living up to their true blue nature, neither the campus nor the Chemical Engineers gave in. It really baffles me, this ppl either has no brains or are really FUCKING self centered. They organize a international sports meet, invite ppl from afar and the treatment we received was HORRIBLE!!!!! Communication between every party FAILED...I've been to so many sports meet, events and things like tat and never have i been in a situation as BAD as this. When i spoke to one of the helpers later that day, i found out that NTU didn't wan to join due to some reasons. If i didn't hear wrong NTU n NUS have been at each others neck for 17 years and because NTU dont friend NUS they dont wan to come...like WAT THE ****....so ******* childish....GROW UP LA *** *****.....then i also asked how come there is no Chemical Engineering Volleyball and Frisbee Team. The answer was equally as infuriating..."Chemical Engineers normally dont play Volleyball or Frisbee cos of some...social reasons" and i really wished i heard wrong for both cases. Cause this is just plain RIDICULOUS. Not only that, the volunteers are not all chemical engineers, some are civil engineers blah blah blah. When asked why? " NOT ENOUGH MAN POWER FROM THE CHEM ENG FACULTY". (shakes head) and the other LAME **** *** reasons given for their horrible planning.

1) they (IChemE) only gave us 1 month notice
2)We were some what FORCED into doing this
3)Its the first time this is being organized

I wish not give further comments on the above answers. You, the reader shall decide what kinda attitude or image they have protrayed. Personally i would say, using number 3) as an excuse is just plain LAMEEEEE!!!!!

ok i've ranted enought bout that...hahaha...Despite what happen, we still went for the after party and there was BOOZEEE there so minum la...hahaha...and most of us just let the whole CHAOS pass us cause we were in Singapore with a whole lot of friends and we didn't wan to spoil our adventure.

Leavin Singapore was a real relief, when we reached kajang every1 was so happy to be back. Our volleyball team got silver but we really didn't even bother cause everything was already so SCREWED UP...The next IChemE games would be held in UITM, hopefully it wouldn't be as bad as it was in NUS....

thas y SHAME SHAME NUS...la la lalala...SHAME SHAME NUS...la la lalala =)

Thats all from me, but i must say i traveling has been my 3rd love after lee *coughs coughs* and music. =) and i did have and adventure in Singapore. Our last day there, a group of us lugged our bags across Chinatown to hunt for souvenirs and Singapore aint that small when you have to carry your luggage around hahaha...Train for MAS was at 2pm and all of us got on board and then that WEEEED dude came out of no where when we thought he goin to find his own way back....hahaha...thus our adventure came to an end at about 9.30pm when the train screeched to a stop in KAJANG STATION...=0 so until next time...Cheers mate!!!! and always keep an open mind when traveling...=)
